WISE uses a state-of-the-art wireless modem (WISE box) that can be plugged into a desktop computer, a laptop, or a local network. It operates by transmitting signals to and from nearby Base Stations. WISE Base Stations transmit wireless signals throughout your neighborhood, so you can pick up a WISE connection anywhere inside or outside your home or office. Cost of  first installation.
For this plan you need to buy modem and pay  300$ which is equal to (Modem price)+(One month connection)+(installation) , can begin delivering a high throughput up to 512/64 Kbps.

Can I share my WISE connection to several computers?
Using a HUB or wireless access point or a single router or server, multiple users can be online at the same time. 2.0 GB/month shared between upload and download, additional usage cost you'll pay is for upgrading your service plan.

Can we setup a firewall to save our monthly usage.
Setting up a special firewall to save your monthly bandwidth will cost you additional 50 US Dollar (50$). Depend on the type of server this firewall will work on.

I brought a CPE ( Wise box) from out of Lebanon and need to get connection.
No ! You are not allowed in anyway whatever it is to get a connection in Lebanon with a CPE modem box you bought it from outside. There is a serial number and a username authentication when you will get our service and material.

Is there any limitation of ports or sites or softwares by using Wise?
By using Wise connection you don't need anymore to worry about any blocked ports an or to beg your provider to open a specified port to be able to access any resource on the internet or may be to refresh your browser page several times a day or wait a one week to view the newly updated page on the net because of some poor and zero resulted Lebanese internet non professional providers. Opposite of other type of connections completely, Wise use a special method of connecting this mean you will be online with everything available for you. Using file sharing software, MSN Messenger, Voice and video chat, downloads, uploads and more. Why can't I receive WISE in my location?
You must be within the covered area to receive a WISE signal. To get the list of areas please click here. Other than that It sometimes happens for users not to receive signals, even if they are in a supposedly covered area. In that case, you could try to improve the signal reception by locating the WISE box next to a window with an unobstructed view.

Do I Get a real IP?
Yes. You will get a dynamically assigned real IP.

I cannot connect to the internet.
Make sure the computer is configured to automatically receive an IP address. In most cases enable your DHCP ( Dynamic host controlling protocol ) service if its disabled. you need to check the box status. If LED's are on solid, the box has a successful connection to the air link.

Is the WISE box compatible with Wi-Fi systems or will there be any interference?
The box is compatible with 802.11b access points and routers. Interference is usually not a problem provided the wireless AP is installed away from the box antenna.

How will I be billed?
You will be billed at the beginning of every month for the full month in advance, except for your first bill which be prorated for the period of time from when your service was initiated, up to your bill date. All monthly invoices should be settled.
